This installer will create the Hextris 1.0 Δí folder wherever you choose, and will contains everything you need to start playing:
• Hextris Read Me - The file you are currently reading...
• How to Play - Some instructions on how to play Hextris.
• Hextris - The game itself.
• Hextris Blues - The background musical score.
• Register - Use this program to conveniently pay the shareware fee.
Nothing will be installed in any place in the System Folder, but preferences and scores for Hextris will be stored in the Preferences folder when you run the game.
A Macintosh or Power Macintosh computer running System 7.5 or later is required. The color graphics require a 256-color, 640x480 screen. The sound effects require Sound Manager 3.0 or better. The musical score requires QuickTime 2.0 or better to run.
Hextris is being distributed under the shareware principles and is offered with a registration fee of US $20. Registered users will be notified of future versions and upgrades via email if they wish. Hextris is available at all major Macintosh shareware FTP sites. If your favorite one does not carry it, please let them know.
Hellosh Software is proud to offer this product under the shareware principle of trying something before buying. There are no marketing costs and we can therefore offer this software at a fraction of the price of most other commercial software.

If you have questions about your shareware fee: Write to Kagi Shareware at <admin@kagi.com>. PLEASE DO NOT send questions about Hextris to this address. Kagi Shareware is only a payment service, and they will not be able to help you.
1. Open the Register application by double-clicking its icon. You will see a window titled "Register."
2. Fill in your name and addresses in the boxes at the top of the window.
3. Fill in your Email address.
3. Decide the number of copies you want in the Hextris "Single User" box.
4. Choose the payment method under the "Payment Details:" box by selecting a method from the pop-up menu.
5. Send in your payment to our payment service Kagi Shareware by following the directions in the "Payment Details" box.
6. If you have given an Email address or have asked for a Postcard Receipt, you will get an acknowledgment from Kagi that you have paid.
7. You will then receive a registration code from Hellosh to register Hextris properly and turn off the shareware notices. If you give an Email address, this should only take one or two business days. If you are using a postal or foreign address, it will take somewhat longer.

Mark S. Andersson and Hellosh Software hereby grants a free 30-day license to use Hextris, starting the day it is installed. After 30 days, Hextris must be registered with Hellosh Software by using the Register Hextris program and sending the appropriate payment to Kagi Shareware. Hextris may under no circumstances be used beyond this free 30 day trial period unless the program has been properly registered with a personal registration code obtained through payment via Kagi Shareware or directly through Mark S. Andersson. Each separate Macintosh computer that carries this software must be registered spearately.
